HOW TO MAKE A FREE WEBSITE ON GOOGLE.

You know, as the world is going more digital, things are becoming easy (for people with relevant Skills) As a business owner or career developer, a time would come when you will need to have a website. But the financial implications of having your website could be a constraint.⁣

Most small scale entrepreneurs go through this, getting money to build a website that will help you showcase your products and services.⁣ The good news is, there are platforms you can create and showcase your brand, products, and services for free!⁣ Though with limited features! ⁣

Some of the platforms I know that serve this purpose are WordPress, Disha, Wix, Blogger, Custom, squarespace, and so on.

I have personally used WordPress, you can try it because it's easy to navigate and manage. Zero code required, And guess what, you can manage it using your smartphone.

These platforms allow you to build your own website at no dime, except you wish to upgrade! But trust me, if you are just starting and you have no money to pay website developers to build a website, then you don't need the upgrade plan.

⁣These websites allow you to put up your products, services, skills, videos, and links to social media.⁣ ⁣ On these websites, you can automate payments for your products and services because it allows you to put up payment links, so you can sell your products while sleeping (e-books, online courses, and so on).⁣ ⁣

With that being said, without wasting time, let me quickly share with you how you can create your own free website on Google. If you want to make a free static website on Google, follow these steps below:

1 Create your Google A/C (if you don't have one)

2 Search "Google my business" on Google

3 Click Start "Now button"

4 Add the name of your business and it's location (if you don't want to share your location say no). 5 Where you want to serve your customer, add area like Nigeria, Columbia, India, USA, or a city name. (Your country is recommended)

6 Choose the category for your business

7 Mention by which way your customers should contact you like on the phone, on your website, (if you don't have a website, Google helps you create this website based on the information you have given).

8 Select the way you want to do your business (if you want to deliver product/service to your customers or want to sell in your own store).

9 Verify your location, you can verify by postcard, email, by phone, or instant verification( if you have verified business on Google search console).

10 You can also choose to verify later (but Google will not allow a new customer to find you on Google, create a promotional post, respond to customer reviews hence it is always better to verify the location).

11 Complete your listing like add hours, add contact information, a small description of your business, add logo & photos And boom! Your website is ready, promote it by link & gain the business visibility.
